A Life of Balance

At SoulScience Health and Wellness Center, our classes truly represent who we are as a center. We strive to provide a safe and inclusive environment, where all-levels of practice are welcome. Just come as you are, and we’ll take care of the rest. Students can expect to see common themes throughout our class schedule, no matter if it’s a flow yoga class or restorative yoga. SoulScience emphasizes longer centerings (the beginning period of a class where the student is encouraged to “arrive” fully on their mat). Additionally, we highlight breathwork (pranayama) and meditation throughout the practice. Finally, we give prominence to longer rest postures (savasana) or meditation at the end of class. It is our intention to make room for more rest, mindfulness, and connection in order to balance and offset the busyness, anxiety, depression, and loneliness we see in our society.
